May update. 09/05/12


Have made some progress on the car over the last few months.
  •  Fitted braided fuel line for the engine & Nitrous.

  • Fuel line from regulator to the carby fitted up.

  •  Fitted up the dash & gauges. A dash header panel goes over the top edge to finish it off.
  • Fitted up the extractors. I need to make covers to make them legal. Not worried about that at the moment.
  •  Original 9 inch headlights dummied up. I have some smaller 7 inch aftermarket ones that I will use until I restore the originals. 

  • Trial fit of the 5 inch air cleaner. The support rods need to be modified to clear the air cleaner.

  • Or I can run a smaller 2 inch element that will fit under the rods. A bit of 2 inch cardboard used to see what it will look like.

  • Mounting frame and fan mounts. The mounts aren't finished in this photo. Im still working on them.
  • I wanted something with 351 in it but all the combo's I wanted were taken.
  • Nitrous switch and mounting bracket. Switch will activate the nitrous at WOT (wide open throttle)
  • Radiator trial mounted in place.
  • Braided hoses for fuel pumps fitted under the car and bulk head mounted to through the boot to the pumps. 
  •  Fuel pumps dummied up. The one on the left is for the engine. The one on the right is for the Nitrous.


  •  Engine fuel pump & in line filter mounted.


  • More sound proofing fitted.
  •  



Whats left to do ???
  • Mount trans cooler and trans cooler hose's.
  • Mount horn.
  • Mount the head lights.
  • Paint the front apron.
  • Mount the glass when it comes back from being cut.
  • Cut down the windscreen frame.
  • Paint the windscreen frame.
  • Make the door trims.
  • Fit out the door locks
  • Get a tailshaft made.
  • Remove the diff centre and swap out the diff gears.
  • Fit the tailshaft loop.
  • Wire up the whole car.
  • Fit up some mirrors.
  • Fit up the interior & seat belts. 
  •
